An entry for a competition held by the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA). The brief was to create an animation that accompanies the audio they provided. 

 

Boundaries for Tomorrow revolves around our main character, Chip. In his universe, every living thing on earth is connected to one another by an invisible green string. He risked ruining the balance of the whole planet when he impulsively cut himself off the string.

What would happen if our actions also had direct consequences? What if we could really see the impact of our day-to-day activities to the planet?
